*Course syllabus - REGULAR art class for Kids// ages 5 ~ 12

The 10 weeks course is designed as introduction to various different techniques of painting and mediums each week, based on famous international and indonesian artists. Students will learn to familiarise artists names and apply the information given in class to identify real paintings. There will be class projects (mural painting/ installation), and class exhibition at the end of the course. Students will receive Art:1 Institute certificate. Class will be conducted by IKJ professionals. Meeting once a week.
 

*Course syllabus - REGULAR art class for Adults// ages 13 & up // Painting

The 10 weeks course is designed as more in depth learning to various different techniques of painting and mediums each week, based on famous international and indonesian artists. Students will learn to familiarise artists names and apply the information given in class to identify real paintings. There will be class projects (mural painting/ performance/ sculpture/ installation) and class exhibition at the end of the course. Class will be taught by IKJ professionals, real artists, director of Art:1 Institute. Class include one site visit to State Gallery. Students will receive Art:1 Institute certificate. Meeting once a week. Students are encouraged also organise between themselves visits to other museums and have discussion in class.

*Course syllabus - REGULAR art class for Adults// ages 13 & up // Collecting

The 10 weeks course is designed as introduction to collecting art. Students learn a brief history of art from modern to contemporary and identify the major players in art: artwork, artist, auction, gallery, museum, market, each week, based on famous international and indonesian knowledge. Students will learn to familiarise artists names and apply the information given in class to identify real paintings. Class will be taught by Dr. Rikrik Kusmara from ITB Bandung, with guest lecture by real famous artists, auction house, director of Art:1 Institute. Class include site visits to museums/ gallery/ art studios/ art exhibition. Students will receive Art:1 Institute certificate. Meeting once a week.

*Course syllabus - REGULAR art class for Adults// ages 13 & up // Conservation & Restoration

The 10 weeks course is designed as introduction to art conservation and restoration. Students learn basics of painting conservation and restoration and have hands-on workshops to cleaning paintings, preservation technique, problem solving skills and proper storage at home. Class will be taught by Monica Gunawan from Instituto Spinelli Firenze and director of Art:1 Institute. Students will receive Art:1 Institute certificate. Meeting once a week.
