Born in Banyumas, Central Java, May 15, 1943, active exhibitions since 1970 until now both abroad and domestic. Studied in the Faculty of Arts Bandung Institute of Technology (1962-1969) and the Study of Marble Sculpture in Marble Technology, Carrara, Italy. Many received numerous art awards and his works are scattered in various cities in Indonesia. Participate in planning the aesthetic elements to the Indonesian pavilion in Expo'85 in Tsakuba, Japan (1985). In addition to sculpture and printmaking, he pursue the science of ceramics and textile art. Later he was also known artist with works dazzling installation. Humble attitude made it easier to accept among artists and the industrial world. Five pieces of graphic work is summarized in the book Contemporary Prints of the World, published in 1989, side by side with the names of the world's great artists, such as Joan Miro, Paul Klee, and George Braque. His name became the only artist Indonesia summarized in the book. Married with Heti Komalasari, and blessed with 3 children, Hardianto, Arin Dwihartanto and Harmita.
